green card lie

Postby kelly on Fri Mar 26, 2010 9:25 pm

Hello, I am hoping someone can possibly lead me in some direction. In 2001 I married a man from Pakistan, the day he recieved his green card he left for pakistan. He returned 3 months later a different man, left but wont divorce me. I do not have any family or money for a lawyer and i really did love him, this was not a scam in my heart. I feel he took advantage of me and this country and does not deserve to be sworn in, is there anything i can do to see that thru???

yes, you need to file for annulment and do alternative service if you cannot find him. Then tell on him to ICE and USCIS and withdraw your petition for support after annulment.

Pretent he DOES NOT EXIST. NEVER contact him, etc. Then file for annulment and state that he abandoned you and you believed the marriage was bonafide, but it was NOT. Then write a long letter to USCIS explaining your WHOLE situation. Call USCIS to see which field office you need to send the letter too. They may refer to your letter as a "Request for removal of sponsorship" or something like that. It may be too late for that, but try anyway. Then visit your local ICE office and give all the evidence and information to ICE.

You need to protect yourself, people. I can NOT express enough how important it is to keep EVIDENCE!!! And that includes almost everything you could retrieve throughout a day with your immigrant spouse. The smallest things may end up helping your case the most.

I met a man from St Lucia in 2002 and he scammed me the same way. He told me he love me amd manipulated me into marriage. i really loved him but unfortunitly he did not love me. He loved only the green card. He had a woman in waiting from his country for a green card from him as soon as he got it from me. (sick) after he recieved it he told me to kiss his @## and laughed in my face  saying American people are stupid and nieve. HE left with a smile on his face, saying services no longer needed. i've been devastated ever sinse. he said no one would listen to me because he crossed all his t's and dotted all his i's and his timing was good. that is scandeless. And i have to say nobody even cares because i wrote many letters to so many people and no one ever responded. It should not matter how long its been, because thats what they bank on (timing) the longer its been the possibility no one will listen to us. But if i would of killed dirty s#$ for scamming me i would be in prison for such low down person. Who will help us??? They always get away. But i pray for the day that i will get JUSTICE....I REALLLY UNDERSTAND WHAT U HAVE BEEN THROUGH. Especially when we thought it was love & trust. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP US

As I stated in my previous post about being scammed i failed to mention the part about being assaulted when i confronted him on the deception and he was arrested. I would like to know...was that enough for him to be denied a green card? In mentioning this in letters, once again I have to say no one ever responed to any of my cries. :x What i'm I to do at this point. Justice is needed.

ABBIEPROM, so sorry to hear about your victimization.

And I will start off by saying JUST THAT...you are a VICTIM.

Secondly, do NOT buy in to the "saying American people are stupid and nieve" as you stated above. Don't buy in to that, EVER!

With that being said (and stressed), please make sure that you fully understand the Fraud / Victimization process. You must UNDERSTAND and COMPREHEND FULLY that in order for there to be an instance of FRAUD, there HAS TO BE 2 key elements present......The Defrauder and the Victim. Clearly, anyone with even half a peabrain can clearly sum up which of the 2 I am, and you are.

If you read some newspapers, some magazines, or read on the internet even badly, you will no doubt have some type of knowledge or at least cognizance about Immigration Marriage Fraud, VAWA fraud, or some other facet of immigration involving a U.S. Citizen petitioner and an immigrant spouse. Unfortunately for us though, most people are in the dark regarding this crime.

It's a loooooong hard process, and you have to FIGHT for your life. I had to, literally. I fought for my life, and for the return of the days where I would love the sun again and love being out doings things again. When hearing rape victims, we will often hear them speak of their DIGNITY and how it was STOLEN from them.

My dignity was stolen from me as well, just in a different manner. My heart, my mind and my soul were taken from me and destroyed as well. And it's been since April 5th, 2009 that I have been battling to get myself back. That's the day Silvia Zlate walked out of my life for good, and she left me in PIECES scattered around our marital home.

You guys have another voice now, because I will NEVER stop talking about what Silvia Zlate did to me, my immigrant, foreign national wife. Well, ex-wife now, or "Ex-Demon" as I like to refer to her as. Hey, I have finally been able to move on and be happy again. And yes, The Demon zlate is still present here in the United States. Unfortunately she has been rewarded with the new life she so desperately desired. But I will continue to educate people on this type of FRAUD and it's hellish aftermath.

I've been through hell and back, and I am sure many of you of the same road I have taken since March 2009 when my world begin to crumble and Silvia's process of conspiring against me and ultimately eliminating me and the marriage came to fruition.

One day we will all be happy again. You just gotta remember that life is a battle, it's not a Cake-Walk. And if you think it is, then you'll be one of the statistics.
I been there, I done that.
